I kinda agree with @Mrs. Jump Rope. I think Deb will end up saying it was in self defense type of thing, and that LaGuerta was off her rocker.
How do you all feel about Dexter's dad and his old partner, whose name I can't remember (the older white guy that told LaGuerta to back off). I get the sneaking suspicion that he may know more about Dexter than he lets on, or perhaps Dexter's dad was also a killer. I mean, why else would he teach his son this "code"? I dunno, I just think there's something weird going on there. I also think a lot of Dexter's past is going to come up in the last season, so it would make sense in a way.
During this season, I also got the feeling that the show was going to end with Dexter dying, not being arrested. Based on some of the monologues he had with himself, and the realization that it's not just "his dark passenger" and it's part choice too...I feel like he might kill himself. I know that's totally out there, but it's just a guess.
Am I rambling? I love speculating about this show.
